Club Access & Guest Policy

  • Admission is limited to members and their guests.

  • Guests must be accompanied by a member at all times.

  • Members are responsible for the conduct of their guests.


Reciprocal Club Members

  • SSYC honors reciprocity with yacht clubs listed in the Register of American Yacht Clubs.

  • Visiting yachters must:

    • Sign the guest registry.

    • Be from a recognized yacht club or be a guest of a member.

  • Reciprocal members are welcome in all clubhouse facilities.

  • Temporary key cards (for heads and showers) may be issued when the clubhouse is closed.


Visiting Yachts & Dockage

  • Visiting yachts may use vacant slips with Dock Master approval and payment of fees.

    • Please have your club provide a Letter of Introduction from a Reciprocal Yacht Club
  • Dock Master availability:

    • Memorial Day – Labor Day: 9 a.m. to dusk daily (hours may vary for special events).

    • Before Memorial Day & after Labor Day: available on call.

  • Contact Dock Master on VHF channel 16.

  • Daytime transient dockage: available in the “U” in front of the clubhouse.

Overnight Dockage

  • Only available to reciprocal yacht club members (not the general public).

  • Fee: $1.65 per foot LOA, per day (horseshoe or transient slip).

  • Dockage is first-come, first-served.

  • To check availability, call (414) 481-2331 and ask for the Dock Master.
